Hey, guys. Just something that has been bugging me about the story of the Juubi, kaguya and hogoromo. According to madara. Kaguya approuched the shinju and ate its fruit.

From the spoiler we see that the Shinju got mad and transformed into the juubi in order to get its chakra back.

But my question is if the Shinju had the ability to transform into the juubi and vice versa,

Why didn't the shinju transform into the juubi and kill her before she even got near its fruit?

I guess we have to assume that the Shinju or rather the God Tree didn't know about that chakra is transferred to of springs since I think Kaguya was the 1st one to eat the fruit. The chakra that kaguya stole would have had went back to it if she died, probably it got mad when it saw its power being distributed.

The bigger question is what the hell was the juubi doing while the sage was growing up? the sage was clearly an adult when he sealed it within himself...
