Something that I find really annoying...

I coach a softball team and I asked a few friends that I have played with before to help me out at todays practice. ( I asked over a week in advanced) They said they would help which was great and all but then today a few hrs before practice 3 of them tell me that they can't come. (no reason was given and I didnt ask) I find this a bit annoying, I dont mind that they can't come but I feel they should have told me ahead of time... Now I have to replan what the girls will do for practice... It's not that big of deal... I just think its a little rude considering there my friends... U_U

yea I'm not really sad- I just wish they would have told me before hand as I said I asked them over a week ago and gave them all the dets on where it was and what time it started to what time it went too. So they had plenty of time to say 'hey I can't come sorry." and if anything they could have at least told me last night... not this morning.

You should have asked them the reason, may be it was really genuine because of which they were not able to come and if they don't have any reason then they just dont want to help you and are not your true friends

i hear yah, i had a similar experience involved a roadtrip but my buddy who was going to drive us cancelled pretty much the last minute. its annoying yes if you already had stuff planned out.
