Exactly what's going on here? In the previous panel it appears that naruto's attack stopped in midair, but later on we learn that it was actually shadow Madara who blocked Naruto's attack. But then what is the top panel here portraying? Who is using Storm Release: Light Fang?

And why did Naruto's staff break? Is it because he landed a hit on Madara? Or was that Madara's tech that cut the staff? It couldn't have been Shadow Madara because he's not white in a black background, we can distinctly see that that's Madara.

and then here at the top, what exactly knocked Naruto back? Was it Shadow Madara? But then that relates back to the previous panel, who did Naruto hit and all that stuff? These two panels are so confusing I don't get it!

Sasuke can see Shadow Madara with his rinnegan, that's why he threw the sword, but normal attacks (a sword) don't work on Shadow Madara so it slipped right through him. But all the panels prior to him (Naruto frozen, Naruto swinging his staff down, Naruto's staff breaking, Naruto frozen again) just don't seem to make any sense.


AND LASTLY, what was the jutsu that the Sage gave them that Sasuke was referring to? Does anyone have any guesses??

I'll answer some Questions for you.

1. Madara was using Light Fang. If you look closely, he spits out a Lightning from his mouth in order to break Narutos staff.
2 .Limbodara punched Naruto back.
3. Sage Chakra Attacks work on Limbodara. As seen on the Damage of Limbo Madaras arm.

Madara used Storm Release and sliced Naruto's attack with it.
