His dream was also to beat Naruto and finally beat Neji.

But now Neji is dead. Lee will never fight his rival again. He will never fully have closure from the death because as far as we know, Neji died without Lee having the chance to beat him in a serious rival match

Something interesting I noticed. It might be completely random but still..

In every dream there are both people dead and people who are alive. While we can't bring back the dead (technically), there are people who are still there. If every character works hard towards their dream they can achieve it. I guess Shino could technically find a new species of bugs, Shikamaru could live a boring, normal life, Lee could beat Naruto in rock,paper,scissors or smth, and so on... I know some dreams like Tsunade's are more impossible but still. I hope this makes everyone feel a bit better
