Lol, i don't know why this happens to a whole lot of people, but people usually forget this. And i do to in a heated argument. But, let me tell you what i'm talking about. Also, before that, please don't bother trolling or spamming... :eww:
Now you see most people on base usually forget that Part 1 revolved around Genins who weren't even that relevant to that Naruto-verse at that point. I mean we can literally look at the Sasuke situation.. nothing big there to the shinobi world. But sometimes we tend to think that genins from part 1 are top teir or something. While failing to acknowledge Kishimoto never put in a Jounin in those genin missions.. why? Because if he had put jounins in those genin level missions, then i'm sorry but the enemies like the sound 4 would've been killed easily.
See people get impressed from the flashy stuff. "Ohhh he did that, so he can't do that". " OH SHIT Curse MArk level 2 DAMMNN".. but then fail to acknowledge the fact that if those kids face jounin level ninja, they won't even have the time to do such things. The reason why the Sound 4 fights went so long was because there were kids fighting... its not gonna happen if you had someone like Asuma/Kakashi/Gai fighting..
Though this is not entirely the fans fault. It is partially Kishimoto's fault also. In fact Oda and Kubo do it also for some reason. They hype up the main character's events that are like tiny specs in that verse , but then don't make the things surrounding them that big. This then tends to give the fans the thinking oh this is the main thing.
OVERALL POINT: We tend to think that the main storyline being shown to us is an important a big time thing in that universe, but it sadly is not. And with this i want to say, that the genins from part 1 can be solo'd by most of the jounins from Konoha. Meaning Ebisu > Neji/Shika/Chouji/Sound 4/ and so on. Only ones in questioning are Naruto and Sasuke, with them the thing would be if they even get far enough into the fight to even go into CM or kyuubi mode like that..
