Sure Naruto would do the same for his other friends, but I don't think he would want it as badly as he does with Sasuke because of the whole particular special bond that they struck in Part 1 - There is nobody more alike to Naruto than Sasuke and Gaara, hence why he has gone the furthest lengths for them.

Yea lol. Naruto cares for sasuke and that's awesome. I just think kishi may have gotten a little too excited sometimes. It's creepy but I guess we have to remember that this takes place in a fictional world but the themes are what's important right?

It's certain that he would go help all his friends, but he admitted that he wants Sasuke back because he is his best friend and ever since they were little, Naruto spent more attention to Sasuke than to anyone else, because he wanted Sasuke to acknowledge him as his equal.
Like some already stated, Naruto was drawn to Sasuke because they were in similar situations (not having a family and essentially being cut off from the group - Naruto was cut off because others thought he was a monster and Sasuke chose to be alone and to ignore others) and strove to get acknowledged by Sasuke, especially after they landed in the same team.

So while I agree that Naruto would help all his friends and try to bring them back if they left as well, he seems to be slightly more obsessed with Sasuke, because of his need to be acknowledged by the latter as his equal and because he wants his best friend back. Naruto doesn't seem to really care whether or not his other friends acknowledge his strength, but he does seem determined to get Sasuke to admit it.

So yeah, Naruto cares for all his friends and would try to get them all back if they left, but he puts more effort in caring when it concerns Sasuke. And that's probably because his bond with Sasuke was one of the first real ones he had.

Idk if he'd do it for all of his friends, he very well may, but the reason he's going to such extremes for Sasuke is a combination of the fat that he was his first best friend, and the promise he made to Sakura in part 1

He loves all his friends but Sasuke is special to him cuz they have alot in common they both no lose and being alone and plus they became team mates and rivals.It's jus a strong and overly reacted way to teach kids in real life..But the mean is pure love for all your friends with all their faults specially these days with so many kids being bullied,suicide and killing other kids it's a great lesson to stick up for ur friends. That's how it should be even if it's jus a class mate or someone u see in school..The smallest actions can be very impactful in someones life no matter how it is.

Thats how Naruto is.... He will go to any lenghts to protect his friends....
One more thing is.... Naruto promised Sakura in Part 1 that he'll bring Sasuke back.... And he never goes back on his words.... His Nindo....
