When Sasuke blocked the opening strike from Mifune, he did it all with one hand.

In a realistic samurai/ninja situation, Sasuke would have lost his hand right there. Sasuke's Sword has no hilt at all! Nothing to protect his wrist.

If Mifune just had to direct all that force upwards Sasuke could've lost his arm. And there's no way stopping that.

Maybe Kishi just ignored that. But it's nothing lol all but plot.

OT: Are you aware that Sasuke is closer to the age where the human body is at it's peak as opposed to Mifune, who is well past his prime?
