This is odd in itself because SP doesn't put this much effort into fur coats (could be flaunting their animation money though) so it has to have been done for a reason.
The texture reminds me of this:
I said a while ago that Gaara got Magnet Release in Gaara Hiden. The author of that book is working on the Boruto movie. Seems like he was setting something up?

No, this is actually just a crazy theory I wanted to put out there because no one else bought up the weird texture as iron sand, so you know. I doubt it and I actually don't believe it too much, but I was making like thousands of theories about that kid and this one is interesting so here you go.
No matter what skeleton kids gonna be interesting.
