something needs to be cleared up

Ok I was reading the Gaara perfect against Uchiha thread and saw the OP said something along the lines of "Gaara blocked Enton." And some guy people him said "Yeah, he perfectly block it." Or something along the lines of that. However, nowhere in the manga does it indicate Gaara can block Amaterasu or Enton(there's no difference really between the two). Look at this and read properly.

If you read properly, you'll see Sasuke said "I had to shield myself using Enton."

He blocked SAND USING ENTON. Gaara was throwing sand at Sasuke and Sasuke defending by launching Amaterasu into it, creating an equal force that cancelled out the force propelling the sand, thus causing it to stop in mid-air and be suspended in one area.

Gaara didn't block Enton with Sand, it was the other way around.

if its an equal force like you said then theoretically the reverse should be true and gaara should be able to block amaterasu

also on a side note if it gaara attacked with the sand then why did sasuke say "i see your absolute Defense is alive and well"

If you watch the anime it is easier to tell what's going on in the fight. Gaara blocked Amaterasu

Of course gaara block the enton sasuke had threw off his susanoo ribs, not his Amaterasu from his eye
