Okay so ishda joined the Quincy even though he knows that Shinigami are as bad as he thought. So why is he joining them? Remember how they said that the blood of juha Bach runs through all Quincy? Also, that somehow he was able to take all the power from other Quincy without being in contact with them. And somehow an arrancar had the powers of a Quincy( the first Quincy that attacked Ichigo at the beginning of the arc). So my thought is that when he captures potential arrancar he injects them with his blood both giving them Quincy powers and giving control over them. However for stronger ones he has to weaken and beat them until they are unable to resist the power of his blood such as tier Harribel, why would they leave such a high end arrancar in chains instead of using her to attack soul society. And when juha Bach even stated that he would "re-educate" Ichigo like his arrancar subordinates and he probably used something similar to get ishida's on his side. Just something I thought I should share it might somehow turn out to be true or not but still. Thanks, for reading.

Well I'd say its pride and obligation.

Ishida has been hinted to be Quincy royalty. In addition, as homage to his grandfather and himself he takes immense pride as a Quincy. My assumption is that he doesn't even know about the blood control and especislly the death of Ichigo and his mother's due to this....this is also probably why Ryuken doesn't see himself as a Quincy...
