Maybe women go for the bad boys because many of them feel a psychological need to help change them from their "bad ways". I've personally never gone for the bad boys, but from those who have, that's what I've learned. It's not that women enjoy being treated like crap, they just have a desire to turn a bad boy into a good boy. In the end, many women would choose to date the jerk and when that fails, they'd rather marry the nicer man, or else just end up miserable.

It is not that the woman don't want a nice guy. Woman tended to not want to be alone (well most). Nice guys are awsome, but they tend to um lets see how to say this. They tend to stay more on the I want to be friends side then I want to jump into bed with you. Guys that arent so nice are more straight forward, they dont just linger making a girl wonder if they want to be serious or not. We Like nice guys we just dont like to be left waiting for you to make a move.
