Something Is Up With Sasuke

WAY too understanding of this new choice from Sasuke. Whatever happened to the whole, "if we fight we both die" thing? Didn't Naruto understand Sasuke's hatred at that point?

This just doesn't add up for me. Either Naruto knows Sasuke isn't truly back yet or Kishi is going to pull some wild curveball crap out of his ass. It was way too much build up for him to just hop in and be like, "hey, I'll be Hokage. It's cool."

Naruto and Sasuke HAVE to butt heads in a lethal manner - it's been built up too much for them not to.

The question is, how? Oh Kishi, what do you have planned?

They are going to have a friendly battle amongst rivals in the end of the series

At that point in time, Naruto understood that if he clashed with Sasuke with that mind frame...they'd both die.

Now with Sasuke wishing to become Hokage....They will have more of a final battle to determine the winner/Hokage.

Not even Kishimoto is lazy enough to draw the same battle in the same circumstances twice. Their last battle won't be to the death but only to prove who is stronger, it'll be all about skill and not all about who can cause more damage.
At least I seriously hope so, it would be a let down if the last battle is all about giant, flashy jutsus.
