Anyway, im a huuuge itachi fanboy, not gonna lie there. But i don't think using the totsuka blade/yata mirror makes him "impure" in whatever definition this is (I've never heard of anyone calling him a pure uchiha). They're just weapons, they don't change his body or who he is, like how madara has a freaking face on his shoulder.
I would like to know exactly how itachi came across this stuff though
