Something bothers me about the Mangekyo Sharingan

I'll give it straight : how comes Madara and his brother are the first to achieve MS ? Let me explain : to achieve MS one must live a traumatic event ( seeing or killing the person closest to you, for obito and itachi respectively ). Well I find it hard to believe that Madara and his bro were the first to live such experiences. At first I thought they were the first to truly fully master the sharingan and then they met the requirements but Obito going to 2T->3T->MS just destroyed that theory. Any thoughts ?

NO obito achieving the MS was because kakashi killed rin, Obito liked rin. see why he got the MS and the tramautic effect it gave gave.

I meant, Madara and his brother can't be the first gen of uchiha. Madara's era was only a century ago. The Uchiha have a much longer history, how comes is it only a century ago that an Uchiha acquired the MS ? No Uchiha lived a traumatic event in all the time before those two appeared ??

I meant, Madara and his brother can't be the first gen of uchiha. Madara's era was only a century ago. The Uchiha have a much longer history, how comes is it only a century ago that an Uchiha acquired the MS ? No Uchiha lived a traumatic event in all the time before those two appeared ??

They might have been the first in a few years to be able to achieve that power.

didnt itachi say it its still a rare thing only exceptional uchihas get. Obito is the only exception to the rule. In fact his alias tobi comes from a tale meaning an exceptional child can be born from normal parents. sasuke said in part one all uchihas dont get regular Sharingan so i assume the MS is super rare.

That's hardly believable. So there was no murder in the Uchiha clan before him ? That's not likely, we are humans we make mistakes and people are hurt by those mistakes, like two bestfriends fighting over a girl etc... Shit like that happens everywhere, the Uchiha couldn't have been a murder-free clan. Plus Obito just proved that you don't have to actually kill to awaken MS. What's the answer to that ?

They were the first in modern times. The legend of the MS was passed through the Uchiha for generations. People tried it but failed so it was thought to be fake. Madara and Izuna however, found the secret to obtainig MS. They were the first RECOREDED to gain the MS. Now that the secret was out, it became a little easier to gain MS.
First Obito, then Shusui, then Itachi and last Sasuke.

Remember, Madara knew the secret and probabaly set Obito up to get MS.

Not every Uchiha was able to achieve MS. Only the TOP of the clan were able to obtain it(Madara being the leader, and his brother being his sparring parter/rival.

Obito is a descendant of Madara, and becoming powerful under Madara's wing, enabled him to achieve that power much quicker

_ Well I don't remember reading anywhere that Madara had children or even a wife. How could Obito be his descendant ?
_ The Uchiha are a clan. That means they record things, like their history, members. They have archives. I don't get how they could have lost that knowledge. And I do remember reading that Madara and his bro were the first ( as in the very first ever ) to unlock it. I'm just looking for a suitable answer/theory

You can prob also power up the sharingan from fighting each other out of acknowlegement. Izuna and madara always did. Sasuke gained his 3rd tomoe from fighting naruto.

thats not a problem, the biggest problem is if obito can so quickly get MS after one painful event in his life, why didnt loads more uchiha get MS during the times of war with madara.

It could be that Madara and Izuna were one of the earlier generations of the Uchiha. Though Madara's time was only a century ago, all of the Hidden Villages are still pretty young when you think about it (all of them are at or around their fifth Kage). That could mean ninja might only have been around for a little while, and SO6P in fact died only a few centuries ago, if that. The storyline never mentioned how long ago SO6P's time was (MAYBE because Kishimoto had something to hide?), and it could be a possibility.

This is actually hard to explain. Madara was said to be the strongest Uchiha in the Uchiha's history. It was said that Madara and Izuna had the strongest chakara that the Uchiha has ever seen within that clan. So obviously they were special because even the 9tails states how special Madara was and the 9tails has been around for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time. But if you remember the same thing can be said for Hashirama and his brother. Madara just inherited the Elder sons power as did Hashirama and the younger son.

obito is far from the best even itachi got sharingan faster..

And they were the 1st to master it................................ they mastered it 80 years before obito rofl..
