Most of the clan saw that Madara's prediction was becoming reality. Not all of the clan did, Itachi and Shisui are good examples.

fugaku liked the hidden leaf ,but he just didnt like how the uchiha were being treated.
and had to act in the best way for uchiha to survive. i think he hated how madara made other clans view the uchiha

They wouldn't have been planning a coup if they didn't at least agree with Madara on some level. The Uchiha of Madara's era were different, they believed he was simply jeopardising their newfound peaceful living.

Nah. Madara wanted an extreme coup de tat that would lead to chaos and the uchiha could foreshadow the outcome of the situation
They did not believe in Madara's plans
I am guessing after Madara left, years later Fugaku became leader by proficient skills and reasonable plans to overcome their positions from the leaf village. Fugaku must have learned what Madara tried in the past but in a more positive way that lead the Konoha elders worried...ultimately, they kinda believed he was going to be another Madara that by controlling kyuubi but it was really obito in the end....
