I was realizing something..if this is the first time sarada awakened her sharingan, she might've awakened it before, but let's assume she just activated it for the first time. Notice that she was smiling, anxiety, joy, etc, I do not believe she was harboring any negative feelings. This could be a Uchiha that won't fall to darkness, as she activated her sharingan due to joy. Just my two cents here.

Good morning by the way!

Perhaps. I always though the Sharingan itself just responded to powerful emotion, but Indra's influence in the form of the curse of hatred caused it to awaken with grief.

Good Morning! I think that she will have a very happy childhood. She doesn't know that sasuke kind of saw his parents, friends, and family being murdered by his idol. If that's not messed up I don't know what is.

Tobirama just misinterpreted the whole thing due to his stance on the uchiha. They awaken the sharingan due to having an intense emotional experience...if sarada doesn't awaken it with hope of seeing her 12 years long lost dad, i don't know how else she would

Yeah, All of the above posts here seem to be correct, She is the first uchiha..(other than shin and the strange man)...to be born after the death of Madara, and Obito, and she could be the first of the change within the Uchiha clan. This could be a positive evolution (plot wise)

well, the only requirement to awaken the sharingan is extreme emotional distress. It doesnt have to be anger. Obv, she has daddy issues and the idea of meeting her father put her in emotional overload which probably awakened her sharingan.

And doesn't change the fact that it is still cursed. You still have to take your brother's eyes to get EMS. It's still a legacy written in blood unless you stop at 3 tomoe or MS

You just need to be in an emotional situation. Usually that situation is negative so people believed that it had to be negative. But a positive emotional experience works just as well.

Agreed. I think she's the first Uchiha to unlock the sharingan for something gained (the opportunnity to meet her father) rather than lost. ( a friend, brother, or loved one)

I'm guessing it's an intense emotional response. The first intense emotional response a person gets it awakens. MS awakens after a intense lost. The rinnegan is after a Uchiha requires a senju when he's on his death bed he awakens it.

Depression, anxiety, and sense of abandonment from her father all wrapped up in a teenage girl, I'm pretty sure she's the poster girl of negative emotions :p

She unlocked the Sharingan at that moment because she was remembering all the pain and confusion she's felt over the years and the closer she gets to ending that, getting closure, and seeing her dad, the more anxious and excited she becomes until her eyes change.
