Recently, I bought the Samsung Galaxy s3 off someone on a Facebook group. After a bout a month of using it, it stopped working so I brought it to AT&T. They told me that the person had reported the phone stolen and is now blacklisted. What I was wondering was if I can report the person to the police or charge him with fraud? I only have his number which seems to be a textplus number and I can kind of remember how he looks like but other than that nothing else. Would police help further investigate or would it just be a waste of time? Please let me know! :rage::nuts::NO::shy:

there is two things you are forced to do.
one give the phone to the police.
two report them what happen.
if you know the Facebook group the police will check it out and see what they can do.

not to be mean or anything but why did you buy it from facebook?

Police might help you if you could describe the person 100% accurately, but then there will be questions from them like did you know him?how did you go in contact?
It was best for you to have actually bought one from an official store, still those guys know how to disappear.
It is your choice man whether you report him or not, maybe the police can help.:what::sweat:
