Someone fill me on in Isobu and the 3-tails?

Hey guys,

I watched the anime up to ep ~270 or so and have read all the mangas since then.

I have also been reading up on the wiki's trying to understand everything but once in a while I come across something I don't remember at all. I don't know if its due to my poor memory or because the manga goes into more detail and I simply haven't read all the manga yet.


But I was reading up on the Uchiha's and come across Ibitsu, Madara's dad. I don't recall ever seeing him featured or reading about him.

The wiki further states that the 3-tails was captured by Ibitsu and indicates he is still alive... how is that possible?

For one, the 3-tails was just sitting in a lake by itself when I saw it in the anime (yuukimaru arc).

So when did Ibitsu have the 3-tails, and why/how did it get released back into the wild?

Anybody know where in the mange I should read from to learn all this?

just found out that the wiki is referring to "Naruto Raijū: The Beginning"

apparently a fanfiction?? seems really lame to me that a wiki like that would mix in fan fiction with the actual story.
