Or he can then summon as many hungry sharks to chase them down and rip them to shreds :|

That stops the strategy in my first paragraph, but not the rest.

What the hell!! Some people actually think Kisame can win this???

Kisame is actually one of my favorites characters, but I gotta admit he'll simply get blitzed in this one. Minato's too fast both with and without FTG, he probably can't take Kisame out in 1 hit though since he's extremely resilient, but that won't matter much since Kisame can't hit him.

Water Dome won't work. First of all I don't know if Minato will leave him room enough to use in and if he does Minato could either FTG out or maybe summon Gamabunta and just jump out of it...

Minato takes it low diff, mid at most.

No... It certainly isn't a quick battle nor is it LOW diff for either opponent. Unlikely to be mid either.

Bunta is KO'd with GSB really, and Minato is not marking up in a large enough radius before WD is activated for him to be able to FTG out of it

ST Barrier for GSB, but yeah, its unlikely. Kisame takes this either way.

Could go either way; individuals above fail to realize that once Kisame maintains a terrain advantage via Dai Bakusui Shōh that he has the option attacking from both above and beneath [Shark summon/ ] the surface and the said jutsu negates Namikaze grounding any Kunai. A shunshin + kunai strike combo isn't rivalling Kirabi's TBV2 Lariat from which Kisame comfortably recovered.

Size of the water dome:

Size of Gamabunta:

Gamabunta is roughly 2.5 tree sizes in height and 1.5 in length as compared the dome which is evidently wider than an entire mountain...meaning, Namikaze would not be able to escape as easily as some may believe as kisame's physical alters to a more shark-like appearance after fusing with Samehada; granting him even better than the amphibian and to also mention that the Dome travels jointly with Kisame and thus would reduce Minato's O2 levels.

The only way Kisame wins is with WD. Also to say Minato can't solo in the first few minutes of the fight is laughable. The second Minato gets a seal on him, Kisame is done for. Even if WD is up, Minato will be able to slam a few rasengans into him and drown peacefully.

Lol @ something that is pure chakra being used as means to defeat Kisame

Waltz pretty much covered everything that needs to be said. It's a highly situational fight that can go either way. Though, I'd give it to Kisame 6/10 times.

I love that you say that, but it's not like Kisame absorbs things the same way preta does... If he's hit by something physically, yeah he might be able to drain some chakra, but he will still be physically impacted by it. [ ][ ][ ]

Care to explain why??? (And keep in short i'm in a hurry right now :D)

Considering the fact that Samehada can and will regenerate any blow given to Kisame from Minato; yeah. SHORT BATTLE LOW DIFF.

A Kunai slash won't end Kisame. A rasengan to anything but the head won't; And the ball of chakra can be absorbed easily. Minato comes into contact with Kisame? The radius Samehada has will naturally pull his chakra away. And the moment that Kisame feels threatened by Minato; or when Minato tries to remove Samehada from Kisame. They fuse.

And then the only way to stop Kisame is through physical actions which will be hard to do under water with a monstrously fast shark-humanoid chasing you down that can absorb chakra at alarming amounts with but a touch.

If anything, Kisame takes this mid diff. Minato can't possibly injure or hurt Kisame enough to end it quickly or in a "LOW DIFF" scenario.

I hope you know those are terrible examples you got there... You're trying to compare chakra-less blows to rasengan. Not only that, but Kisame was physically worn and unable to do anything in all three of those scans.

Let me explain to you how Samehada works. It has an absorption range. Anything that gets within range, is absorbed; as long as the chakra doesn't exceed over Samehadas limit, which is 6 tails worth of bijuu chakra. Does a rasengan contain more then said amount of chakra? I think not. Can't be bothered with pulling out scans atm, but If I really must... I will.
