Im in the alabasta (something like that) arc and Mr.1 just arived but i havent watched the show in a while so i dont remember where the crew is going, why there going there etc.

So could someone catch me up?

Honestly I dont even remember who 1,2,3 are and what they are doing. Id look it up myself but i dont want to spoil any more of the story. I just finished the episode where Mr 1 arrives so could someone fill me in up to this point of the arc?

And who is black beard? What is crocodile doing?

mr. 2 AKA Bon Clay is the weirdo with the hairy legs lol
Mr 3 is the guy with a "3" symbol in his hair :| hard to miss...

Crocodile is MR. 0 and he's the leader of Baroque Works. Their plan is to take over alabasta

it's just a couple of episodes, it might be the shortest arc (excluding the very beginning), it's just like 3 episodes and it's a very good and important arc

Crocodile is the head of an organization called Baroque Works. Baroque works has the goal of overturning leadership of Alabasta and creating a new nation. Mr 1,2,3 etc. and their female agents are high ranking members of Baroque Works. Baroque Works are fueling a Rebellion by framing the King for acts they did (e.g. steal all of the rain using a banned substance called Dance Powder etc.) so that there is a massive Civil War. At which point they will take over the nation when it needs salvation.

The Strawhats friend Vivi is the princess of the country and was a spy within Baroque Works, now the Strawhats and Vivi are trying to stop Crocodile.

So far, Ace (Luffy's brother) protected Luffy from his Marine enemy - Captain Smoker. And they traveled across the Desert together. Forgive me if I'm wrong but I think Luffy and Crocodile have already fought once by the time Mr 1. Arrives. Luffy was utterly defeated in less than 2 minutes.

Blackbeard is a key villain in the One Piece story. However I won't spoil because at your point in the story he hasn't even been introduced, he has only been mentioned on several occasions. You'll see him in the next canon arc anyways so I wouldn't rush into it and read about him.
