uh okay this is for some of my in real life friends, but i guess i’ll share with you guys... this came to mind whenever i read 619 :I. i’m sure someone has already mentioned it but i haven’t seen it so….
In chapter 619 Tobirama talks about how the Uchiha gain their ocular powers.
“When Uchiha suffer after experiencing the loss of a loved one or despair special chakra sprouts inside of their brains, which affects the optic nerve and produces a change in their eyes. That is “The eye that reflects feelings” … The Sharingan.
During the fight with the Hachibi, Sasuke gains a new power with his sharingan. The title of chapter 415 is “A New Power”…
He gained this power while watching Karin on fire, sinking into the water, clearly desperate to save her life.
These moments combined gave me another reason to believe that that feelings between Sasuke and Karin are mutual
. As Tobirama said, the Uchiha gain their power through loss of a loved one and despair. When Sasuke saw that Karin was on fire and sinking into the water, he believed that she was going to die. He was desperate to do whatever he could do to save her life (because he loves and cares about her) and the chakras in his brain unlocked the new ocular power to extinguish the black flames .
