The sage of the 6 paths was a monk not necessarily a fighter.
Obito seems to be Madara's forefather when the 2 first met. Madara called Obito "my honorable forefather".
To explain FTG forward motion is not halted. Which explains when Tobirama stabbed Izuna he slid through him. Also with minato who was able to spin around with his rasengan fast enough to hit Obito who was in motion.
Tobirama created edo Tensei before he became hokage thus it's not something that is held against him when it comes to "who's the better hokage"
Itachi knew about the sharingan. (when an uchiha knows strong feelings the chakra in their brains affects the optic nerve thus creates the sharingan). Itachi needed sasuke to be stronger so he filled sasuke full of hate in hope that he obtains MS.

In Part one some of Tobirama's suiton jutsus actually surpass kisame's. the amount of water that tobirama created out of thin air was able to lap around Hiruzen's gigantic earth wall.
