The frogs can use sound illusions.They are very effective.we have seen this in the fight between pein and Jirayia.

In the fight between Kabuto sasuke and Itachi kabuto used some kind of sound jutsu and effectiv against susano.I think for performing sound jutsu the user need to learn to be a sage? Its just may be my thinking.Isn't Kabuto learned snake sage mode?

Kabuto used the genjutsu used by the female Sound shinobi (I forget her name) from the Sasuke Pursuit Arc. She used a flute to place people under genjutsu. It has nothing to do with Sage Mode.

Well, it's not necessary to be a sage in order to use Sound Genjutsu, in Kabuto's case I think he used Taiuya's (or however it's written xd ) Sound Genjutsu :y
