It seems like the translator just switched 'her' with 'him' and 'she' with 'he', Karin falls in love with him but before she trys anything she sees him sitting by a tree calling Sakura's name, so she visits Sakura in Konoha to talk about Sasuke's feelings and gives her the photo.

So basically Karin not only deliver's their baby, she plays matchmaker as well.

It's so cheesy, feels like an SS version of The Last.

Oh well the more naruto we get even if it is a bit cheesy the happier I am.

How does any of this make Sasuke a wimp/pairing fodder all of a sudden? We already knew he got married at some point and had a child the same time as everyone else. :|

I fail to see how sasuke being afraid to return and thus go into a relationship sakura for certain fears makes him a wimp. Sasuke very much understands what happened to him and what caused him to turn into a version of himself that wanted konoha destroyed.
Essentially, the author is using concepts of people who fall in love but have a very heart-breaking departure from one another. These people are more inclined to be afraid to get in another deep relationship for fear of it ending in another heart breaking departure.

Sasuke understands that because of his uchiha heritage, love is a dangerous thing. If he loses sakura, he could end up wanting to destroy something with all his might again. Thus, we get a repeat of insane evil sasuke. This novel sounds like its gona show us a more human sasuke, a sasuke that neither the manga nor the movie showed us. Remember as humans we have our doubts and fears but we overcome them or at least try to overcome those feelings and it looks like we will see sasuke try to overcome his doubts and fears.

Also, I know people say the novels are not canon but I for one treat them as canon materials. My reasons are that they really don't change how the manga story ends or even events in the manga and movies. All they do is add more detail into the story during certain periods of time that the manga and the boruto movie didn't show.
