So The SO6P was the very first jinchiriki. Then many years later Mito Uzumaki was the very first jinchiriki of the ninetails. Would that mean that the tailed beasts for many years have roamed the land? Why didn't shukaku of the sand spirit come out to fight with the rest of the tailed beasts? Have all of them fought one another? Since Gyuki (8 tails) said to kurama that shukaku always hated you by calling him weak by the # of tails each has? I don't know if every question was answered by the manga but I was just curious if somebody knows something?

Well it was said that the first hokage possessed many of them so they were not just wandering while he was alive but yes they probably went from place to place causing destruction when messed with or irritated. They may have fought each other before shinobi started hunting them down and sealing them. I doubt they fought each other on villages behalf because no one before killer bee could control these beast really.

1. Hogoromo was the first Jinjuriki. He was the Juubi:s. He only created the Bijuu seemingly after his separation.

2. From the Sage's death (likely a millenia or however long it takes for the fruit), Bijuu roamed free for the most part.

3. Mitro was the first to seal Kurama.

4. Shukaku had no host to be placed into. He was essentially the odd man out.

5. The Tailed Beast have likely fought with one another at various points. This would account for Kurama claiming Shukaku to be weak.

There isn't much to go on for some things so it's hard to say for certainty.
