I just want to clear something up for the millionth time for a few users:
1.Naruto never lost RSM.
2.There is no pseudo RSM (as a certain user has been saying lately)
3.This is RSM:
4. Any cloaked forms that were shown subsequent to the above image were the addition of bijuu chakara to RSM. Specifically, the form with the 9 truth seeking balls and the rinnegan symbol/ 9 tomoe on the back drew on the power of all 9 bijuus, along with the power of six paths senjutsu. Meanwhile, the form seen in Naruto Gaiden and Boruto Naruto the movie was the combination of RSM and only Kurama's chakara. The form seen in the Last was not RSM at all. That was BSM.
In other words, if Naruto were to die and then be reanimated, while he would lose any bijuu power that he has, he would keep both sage modes (referring to toad sage mode and RSM). Now you may be wondering what exact powers that RSM (without bijuu influence) comes with. Well here is a list:
1. "The user gains a subconscious mastery of Hagoromo's ability to levitate" - Jin no Sho (In other words Naruto would still be able to fly)
2. Naruto would still have the speed and reaction time that "equals or surpasses that of the 10 tails jinchuuriki". This is that blitzing speed that Naruto showed after he restored Guy's life force.
3. "The user gains a mastery of all 5 elements as well as yin-yang release" - Jin no Sho Therefore Naruto would have the ability to use all 5 elements and yin/yang.
4. Immunity to truth seeking ball.
5. A universal comprehension of chakara. I know this one may seem like just hype, but we have actually seen evidence of it if you think about certain scenarios:
a. Naruto being able to use yin-yang release to restore Guy's life force and Kakashi's eye
b. Naruto suddenly using bijuu elements when he didn't before, despite the fact that he actually got the bijuu chakaras before the juubi was even revived to begin with.
c. Madara suddenly using storm release out of nowhere.
d. Obito knowing that chakara connects the living and the pure worlds (this may be an instance)
etc...
The above 5 abilities are reported by the 4th data book. Now this may not seem like a lot, but if you consider the creative things that can be created with these techniques and combine this consideration with the universal comprehension of chakara and the removal of Kishi's love of nerfing, then you get an extremely powerful arsenal.
For example, the six paths yin and yang powers are composed of (as the names imply) rikudou level yin release and rikudou level yang release respectively. With the mastery of yin-yang release and the rikudou power that comes with RSM, it would not be far fetched for Naruto to do like Hagoromo and actually develop these seals for himself. Naruto has already used the yang power before too, so it is not like he's unfamiliar with the seals and their power.
Also, truth seeking balls are comprised of senjutsu, all 5 nature transformations and yin-yang release (all of which RSM grants Naruto). Therefore, it would be feasible for Naruto to be able to create truth seeking balls. You may be thinking that truth seeking balls require the bijuu chakaras, but we have seen evidence of otherwise.
Hagoromo had truth seeking balls both before bcoming the 10 tails jinchuuriki, as well as long after his death (meaning that he had them at times when he had only his own rikudou senjutsu and not bijuu chakara).
Hamura is not even listed as a user of rikudou senjutsu, yet he too had truth seeking balls (and I'm not just talking about in tenseigan chakara mode either). If you watched the Last, then you saw an old man Hamura walking with a truth seeking ball floating behind him. He had no bijuu power.
Asura was not known to be a jinchuuriki, yet he had truth seeking balls.
Toneri showed that tenseigan chakara mode also grants truth seeking balls, and that is not a bijuu related power.
Last but not least:
Obito created a truth seeking ball out of Black Zetsu's mass simply by absorbing some of Madara's rikudou senjutsu chakara. If you read the very end of that chapter and then read the very beginning of the next chapter, then you'll notice that Obito actually created the truth seeking ball before he even touched Shukaku's and Gyuki's chakaras. This proves that the creation of the truth seeking ball only required rikudou senjutsu and not bijuu chakara.
Therefore it is possible that edo Naruto could still make truth seeking balls. This is not to mention that he would still have all of his other base and toad sage mode powers.
Conclusion: Naruto never lost RSM and even edo Naruto would still be a rikudou level opponent.
