I am really getting sick of some people constantly *****ing about how 'They talked for too long' or 'No action, so bad, hate Naruto, ect, ect.' Kishi makes the entire damn thing for us, to entertain us, and all some people can do is just always complain that he tries to add some depth and emotion to characters. Well I hate to disappoint you guys, but that's how a good story is made! Deep characters you can attach to, they're important parts of any fictional writing, otherwise when anybody died or something bad happened to them, you wouldn't give a rats arse, and ultimately it'd be boring and stale. Now I can understand, some people just want to see action, and that's how they like their manga/anime, they don't really care about anything in between; now while I disagree with that, I can accept some people are like that, and fair enough. And yes, some chapters are a little boring, because nothing really happens and everyone just talks, and I agree, yes, sometimes too much talking is a little annoying and tedious. But is it REALLY necessary to complain when Kishi tries to make an emotional exit for what was a major character throughout the series? Can you not be grateful for the fact that he's trying to make Obito's departure mean something? We've had a fair amount of action over the last few chapters, so I think complaining about the lack of action for one chapter, where emotion and farewell was more important, is slightly cheap. Come on, give the man some credit for making us feel some attachment to a major character before they die.
I apologise again for ranting, but just looking through the feedback thread in this chapter made me feel rather annoyed with how ungrateful people are... Doing this is probably making me look no better as I'm complaining about complaining, but this is how I get it out...
R.I.P Obito, a character I generally cared about.
