I don't think the ones are the ground are hatching just yet.

there are no cocoons on the ground, not sure what those cacoonless tentacles are for. they just dont have any cacoon.

I've been thinking lately that people turn in to Zetsu at different speeds depending on how quickly they give in to the dreams

In the previous chapters we have never seen just ropes hanging there. Maybe being attached to the tree is just the first stage of the transformation.

How come does the tree has ropes? I don't really think it is. It's a vine, I guess. But just look at the ground brother, below the vines behind Hashi.

We probably don't see them because those branches are way far out in the distance. If that were the case why don't we these empty ropes consistently?

1. Those could have been attachments that could have previously been used by Kaguya (the firs time).
2. Could be just regular vines/ropes that just happen to appear and have no significance.
3. No one was near those vines/ropes for them to grab on to anyone and create a cocoon like state.


Honestly, they're just there. I don't really think it's a drawing mistake, nor is it detached cocoons...

Not that hard to figure out IMO.
