When I stated that are attention-seeking threads, I know what I am saying. You got it the wrong way, just.
Is something that you will never notice from the inside, because you do it involuntarily. You also tend to deny it. First step is always denying.

Take the good things from it. You need attention, is ok, nothing wrong, we all do! But get it in the good way. With sharing moments with people around you, start living a life for real as one on this base is just virtual.

Talk to your parents! Don't do this silly thing as getting yourself far from them. There will be NO ONE EVER CLOSER to you than a parent, when you'll be in need. Trust me: NO ONE!

How do you feel better with people here when you said yourslef that you need people around you to be there. By nature laws these people are not there for you, they're just talking to you, but as in 'there for', they'll (including me) never be.

You're at an age that is normal to don't get along with your parents that well, just because you have a perspective different than they have. But trust me, the parents are the best thing that can happen in your life. And I know what I am talking about.

Get closer to them and start bonding before it's too late because you never know when you will need them and they're not going to be there.

Friends will come and go, parents stay for an entire life.

And don't worry about friends, not all the girls are that Barbie-type girl. Those type are usually shallow. Try to find friends with good principles and it will help a lot.

I am not trying to be bitchy here, I repeat. I am just trying to give you advices based on true life experience.

Well, in my estimation, only those kids with pimple farms have erotic females in their sig...they do this because they can't meet real girls...and because they've never met a real girl, they don't know that girls don't like that behavior. xd

I have three true friends in my life. They are the most wonderful people I could ever ask for and I know they'll be there for me as I'll be there for them every time they need me. True friends do exist, you only need to find them. They are like a hidden gem buried in trash.
And yes a lot of people will abandon you. People will stab you in the back - trust me, I know what I'm talking about. I had my fair share of those 'friends'. However it isn't healthy to just stay with people because it's easy instead of creating bonds. Yes, there will be times when they'll hurt you - if it's on purpose, dump them. If it's unintentional, you can forgive them.
Nobody is perfect; you're always going to have struggles whether you like it or not. That's just life.
But having special bonds with your friends is an amazing feeling. It would be unfortunate if you never got to experience that feeling.
Also, I don't know how your home situation is and can't speak for your parents. However, you could try and meet them halfway. Try talking to them about your day - just regular talk - and see how that turns out. They are there to look out for you and care for you.

Yes, real friends are more than willing to die for you; but that only works out if you'd do the same. Not that they're looking for an opportunity to do so, it's just that when the time comes, they won't even think twice about it.

In order to have a good friend, you must be a good friend. However, if you're a good friend, but the person you think is your friend doesn't return the favor, then you simply move on and forget them, that's over with.

So yeah, friends look out for each other from the smallest of things to the largest, and no one can ever come between that relationship.
