Some good anime?

Can you tell me some good anime but there is condition i want good one more for adults like Death Note or something like that. I dont have anything against childish anime but just im not want to watch them now. I have in mind Devil may cry but i dont know maybie is something better?
P.S. Anime for adults doesnt mean i wanna watch hentai

There's comedy in it of course, but I've never thought of it as childish. For crying out loud, people can't even walk two steps outside without getting torn into pieces by giants.

more adult as in gory or as more mature themes (not teen love but real love) or just an anime where the main character isn't 13 or something that's full of ecchi fan-service

Golden Time - a slice of life romance, no real action
Suisei no Gargantia - not gory but not very kiddy/teen
Hataraku Maou-sama - a comedy but the characters aren't high school kids (well one is but school life isn't a big focus)
