True. Nothing worse than seeing your fav manga reduced to fan service or $$$ service which is what seems to happen. Like Gaiden for example, wholly uncessesary drama for the sake of $. The bad guys didn't even matter in the end.

GT was stuff of nightmares for me. It killed everything decent about the original work. Pan was awful to watch, Trunks was weird and Vegeta being trolled. But had one of the best endings.

I think DBZ should have ended with Gotenks beating Buu XD
Gaiden was like a bad fanfic, and I think I even read one similar to it a few years ago.

That's why I'm conflicted. It had a few good moments, but mostly bad, and Vegeta was and still is my fav.

Befitting ending. XD

At the end of the day people will watch what they want, seems like you are rustle that people still watch DragonBall and it burns you inside, it is nice that you are big boy now but others still enjoy it , your opinion is really not important, a minority if you will :)

I feel the same exact way honestly. Back when I was kid I was so hooked to the series that I wished it never ended. Few years down the road I watched other anime that seemed better plotwise. They made me see how great the anime world could be if watched with interest of picking up new series. In the end now DBZ is a distant memory. I am a bigger fan of Bleach, Naruto, and Fairy Tail than that. They all have provided me with the much deserved entertainment I was missing when DBZ had ended. Its no longer nessacary for this series to continue when you have many other anime who have now surpassed it.
