I'll stick with ooc, it's easier.

This KG doesn't officially have a name, but is derived from a skill Sakon and Ukon had which allowed them to break their bodies down on a molecular level. In the end it allowed them to merge with each other, as well as other people. The ability is kind of difficult to understand completely as there isn't exactly a lot of exposure in the series, but I'm assuming it can be left up to interpretation with reforming molecular structure, which is how they're able to do everything. Because the ability revolves around two people, pretty easy to perform combination jutsu and stuff.

Why I chose the ability specifically is honestly I wanted to have a tai/ken focused bio and this seems to be a good direction to go with it. There's a few handy tools as well which is pretty cool, like +10 to elemental jutsu, S-rank genjutsu release and extra chakra. But mostly I went with the bio choice because I thought it would be fun to RP two people at the same time, different personalities, just a fun reason really.

Okay cool.

Alright, fair enough. It has potential. I thought about getting into it myself. But yeah, was lazy.
Anyway:

(Sōma no Kō) Twin Demons Technique
Type:
Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: An inheritable bloodline trait enabling twins to merge and un-merge their bodies at whim. The merging process is contingent upon one twin being active - the main body, whilst the other resides within their sibling's body in a semi-dormant state often exposing only their head. For the duration the two siblings are merged, their chakra pathway systems are entirely synchronized, and thus function as a singular entity. Notably, both the twins retain separate control of their mental faculties. In this state, the main body's chakra becomes bolstered, relative to an ordinary ninja's typical chakra, adding +10 to their elemental damage. Also, the healing rate of the dormant sibling increases and thereby enables passive regeneration of damage incurred from nonfatal physical injuries over the span of a few turns. Furthermore, they are passively able to protrude any part(s) of their body anywhere along the main body. Upon separating, the twins may act entirely independent of one another or alternatively, attack and defend in concerted effort. Central to this technique is the ability to reconfigure one's DNA to merge with another individual.

Note: merging enables the release of any Genjutsu (bar illusions induced via Mangekyō Sharingan or EMS).
Note: the twins, whenever split, may use only up to and including S-rank techniques.

Analyze it for me.

I'll try to keep this short. This is the basis of the KG where two people operate at the molecular level, allowing them to merge and split at will. When merged, their chakra is in sync with each other and considered one person. I'm guessing this means they share the same chakra signature and for the most part, the bodies cannot be determined by chakra sensory or doujutsu.

Two bodies when merged get a +10 boost to elemental ninjutsu. The dormant body gets increased regeneration which probably means nothing in RP terms. Can passively move within the body, allowing for extra punches or kicks to combine with their taijutsu or whatever they want. I'd guess when merged, the two characters being considered a single entity means they both are susceptible to things like genjutsu or other spiritual techniques.

When split, each body can only perform up to S-Rank techniques, and thats it really. Merging can be used as a release from genjutsu unless its MS or higher. Not sure about Yin genjutsu.

I guess I do have one question, would the dormant body be able to perform handseals for the main body? Like for example, trying to use genjutsu kai to break out of something where the main body is occupied.

Yeah, Yin Gen depends tbh
Because if enhanced with elements, it'd follow the release rules of elemental Gen, for example.
This is technically a surge, though I'll confirm on the technicalities of it. Same with your question, I'm leaning towards a "yes" but similarly, it states explicitly that they act independently when split, but says nothing of when they are together. So I'll just confirm for you, since Soma No Ko isn't really a thing used regularly.

(Tarenken) – Multiple Connecting Punches
Type:
Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user when merged sprouts out one of the other bodies’ arm creating multiple attacks at once tripling the normal damage.

Note: requires Sōma no Kō kekkei genkai

(Tarenkyaku) – Multiple Connecting Kicks
Type:
Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user when merged sprouts out one of the other bodies’ legs creating a multiple attack kicking the opponent, and dealing triple the usual damage.

Note: requires Sōma no Kō kekkei genkai

Two Tai based attacks. They are basically wild, because they state they triple the damage dealt. But yeah, pretty old techniques and not too useful, seeing as you have to be close to the opponent.
However, because these are the only techs for Soma No Ko, it allows for some interesting customs.

These are basically the same thing, just with punches or kicks. You throw a punch or kick and then another limb comes out and hits them at the same time to deal more damage. Can be interesting for trying to perform a feint, strike in another area at the same time or something else within the scope of taijutsu. Pretty basic, nothing else to say really.
