because: If it is in box 1 then both box 1 & 2 are true statements, if it is in box three then box 3 & 2 are both true statements, if it is in box 2 then box 2 & 1 are lies and Box 3 is the only true statement. Thus the car is in Box 2

From where did u get this bcoz answer is wrong and stupid, it only blends with the first line of question only, not on the whole question by logic.

It makes total sense. If only 1 of the three can be true than #3 is the true one. I am not in box #1, by the car being in box 2 it is not in box 1 making #3 true, also it makes statement 1 false and statement two false. Thus leaving 2 false and 1 true. The car has to be in Box 2.

The reason why it's not 1 or 3:
1-
If the car is in box #1 than statement 1 is true. It then makes statement 2 true also the car is not in Box 2. Therefor box 1 is not a possible answer as it leaves 2 true statements.

3-
If the car is in box 3 it makes statement 3 true. It also makes statement 2 true as the car is again not in the box.

Too easy.
