Solution to today's society?

Now I'm really gonna sound corny and some of you might call me a fanboy, but its just the reason why i like this character so much. Hashirama's quote that was stated by Kakashi:

"Those who stray from the path of justice have no courage, but under the wing of a strong leader, cowardice cannot survive."

Is this the solution to today's society?

I know some of you are like "no no , we can't have a dictator".. but thats not what I'm talking about.

President/Prime Minister is suppose to be the leader of the people, however I have noticed that instead of leading the people and connecting with them, these men focus on outside affairs and not really address the normal issues.

I remember F.D.R fireside/chat talks on the radio.. talking about normal issues and etc. ;]

But however, since we are more connected I'm reffering to a leader of the world... a guy who people can look up to, he doesn't have to be the president or w.e. But we don't have a influential guy in today's society.. I'm sorry but its the truth.

Sure we have our wisdom men in our families or in our areas. But that doesn't go far on a world scale level.

But what do you guys think?

OT: Frankly, I think one of the few possibilities to free ourselves from corporate funded governments and payed slavery is to find a way to somehow copy the 2008 revolution that took place in Iceland.

They overthrew their government, peacefully, dismissed all politicians, dismissed the national debt forced upon the people, and nowadays their economy is going well. If other nations could somehow follow in their lead..

Whats wrong with todays society is that people are still driven on the ways of the past.

People are too busy being tied up in that which does not affect the outcome of the world. Humans are to busy being racist, judging bi-racial marriage, homosexual marriages, and abortion. Men are becoming even more pig headed than ever which further agitates their need to aggress and prove their dominance. Fathers are too busy yelling at their 4 year old sons telling them that you're a ***** and a ****** for crying. Religion also greatly corrupts the world, for it puts far too many people into tunnel vision that there is only one correct way and thats that. Societal pressures are the cause of crime and murder. We're tricked into believing that we can attain a position or status through the fruits of labor, but for most americans(in the middle and lower class) this never happens.

The world needs love. Its plain and simple. If something isn't making your life easier nor harder then it shouldn't matter. We've come too far to still be this foolish. Science is making breakthroughs faster than we are learning from our mistakes.

Actually, the morality and compassion amongst the citizens are gradually getting better. It's just that the rulers are testing the waters in terms of how much we will let ourselves be terrorized by the authorities.

@mrbishop92; Yeah, by making the people fight amongst each other, continuously categorizing each other, the masses are kept occupied with disharmony so that we won't mind or care about the monopoly driven authorities.

Every person thats run for president lately has been garbage. We don't have many politicians left with integrity or a spine. Those that do don't make it far enough up the latter because that requires you to sell out for the parties benefit. Then when politicians do get into office they are kept under close watch by the party and have to do whatever the recent polls show is most popular so he gets reelected or has the major companies that gave him campaign contributions pressuring him to give whatever bill they want passed a second look.
The government has devolved into a system of bribery and moral and ethical submission.
We do need a strong leader but the system has been taken advantage of so the weakest make it to the top instead.

Don't take this the wrong way but thats the biggest load of liberal crap I've ever heard. The only part of that I can say is relevant to the whole is that if something is lnt making your life harder or easier it shouldn't matter. Your comment on religion is ignorant. I don't go to church or anything but the rest of my family does and they still don't give a shit about what two people do in their own home. Even then you making a blanket statement about religion is even worse. People who condemn something out of faith are better than those who judge someone for having it.

Women make up 52% of the voting population so they have more say in political matters than men do. We've come a long way from the days of women standing in front of the oven all day. Your kid is throwing a tantrum in the market and all you do is ignore them? Piss off. Beat that kids ass. Your kids team comes in dead last? Oh thats okay Johnny here's a participation trophy so you still feel special! Don't try harder next season you'll still get a trophy! Kelly failed her spelling test? She isnt stupid! She must have a learning disability! Lower the standards for her so she doesn't have to study! Its stupid crap like that that turns kids into mentally and emotionally weak, undisciplined morons that have begun to take over the population. Nobody knows anything about discipline, perseverance, integrity, or hard work. Everyone has a false sense of entitlement and looks for the easy way out.
That's what's wrong with America. Not the old fashioned people. The mentally weak people who would rather placate failure and ignorance than force people to power through it.

Thats exactly why men are becoming more pig headed. Women have greatly improved their positions in society. They are setting foot in all the territories where men formerly dominated. In america it's all about being a big manly man who brings home the bread and provides for his family. The fact that women are becoming the bread winners is a big shot in the pride. Masculinity is being stripped away and this is partially why 92% of violent crimes are committed by men. In regard to religion. People are entitled to their faith. I don't have a problem with that. Excepting others beliefs is part of what will heal this world. I only have a problem with the overly faithful who try to force their beliefs onto others. The kind who will go up to you and tell you you're going to burn in hell for being friends with a gay/black/white/mexican/indian/asian person or a girl who had an abortion or something to that effect. No offense to you, but from what you've written, you're not going to make a great parent. Teaching children compassion and sympathy will make them better people in the long run. Being over bearing and expecting nothing but flawless efforts from them as children is foolish. They are only children. I don't care if they bring home a Gold Medal, or no medal, an A or a C. They won't just be compassionate wimps, for they will grow stronger and more wise as they get older. They will learn from their mistakes like human beings are supposed to. If I think they need some words of encouragement then I'll sit them down and let them know that they can achieve anything through the fruits of hard work. I don't have to stigmatize them for their failures in the process. I'll agree with ya on the ass whoopin part though. The initial respect may have to be taught the hard way.
