Soft Lights and a Crushing Rain

This is my first post on the fanfic part of the site. I wrote this poem a couple months ago, and some people have told me to post it online, so im doing just that.


Soft lights and a crushing rain
Broken hearts litter the bridge
Weak minds and a crushing reign
The king, the sword, the followers
Senseless duty, a sense of pride
A weary tide crashes deep red
Those who are stopped, and those who can't
Have grown banal as the days are squandered
Chaos cries for the folk
This life is a wandering mistress
Finding more than expected, more than ever intended
Feriosity lies in the blood
Stained with all uncleanly things
No clemency will ever be granted
Repriveless, bereivement, or no regret
Such steep debt can not be taken so lightly
Drowning in rage, stifled by sorrow
Waking Walking Willing Wasting
Longing lingers until the soul cries
