I'm sure a few people here already know that I'm a fanfiction writer. So, I'm here looking for a few good opinions on a weapon I plan to implement in my Naruto-fanfic.
The Soaring Shortswords used by Kujaku in the last filler arc of Naruto part 1. In my fanfic, Naruto has obtained them. But, I don't think they would fit his fighting style well. So I plan to have Naruto get a smith to melt them down and then re-forge them into a new weapon.
My question is, what sort of weapon would be best for a Naruto who is fast, agile and has a good repertoire of Jutsu at his disposal, both long-range and short-range.
...Incase you haven't guessed yet, this is for my To Survive fanfiction story. A story where before leaving the Leaf after murdering his clan, Itachi pays Naruto a visit and implants Shisui's remaining eye into him.
At the moment, my only idea for him is a pair of wrist-blades.
