Soapstone is the thing you can put your head on when it's summer, to cool yourself down. It's, wonderful. Soapstone to me is just... an CE that's pretty unique. Soapstone itself seems hard when you knock on it but it's weak when faced against earth, meaning that earth can easily rip through it. The above is all because of the talc that soapstone consists. Let's take an example; a kitchen dresser. A kitchen dresser is most of the time created out of soapstone. Pretty, sanded and all but if you break a little piece off it then you will notice that the inside can be noticed as quite the fragile one. If you put enough effort and power, you can simply scratch the inside of it and make it crumble, even if it's just a little.
All the above is how I imagine soapstone to be, but, we're ninja's. How I see soapstone (if shinobish related) then when utilized, in this case if expelled from the mouth then I assume it to be dark, blackish but very soft thus easily to shape if much effort is put. If released from the earth or your body (other than mouth) then I imagine it to be a little more solid but easily to shape into basically anything.
Now let's hop onto the strengths and weaknesses from my perspective. Earth can rip through it as said before. Wind can basically slice it, with a little effort but it's still possible. Metals? Metals are stronger than earth so that's basically self explanatory. Since wood can pierce through earth, then why not soapstone? Dead bone pulse is also stronger then earth, hence. Now I will explain to which elements soapstone is strong against, from my perspective. Fire won't do much to it but if you for example use a D/C-Ranked soapstone technique to protect yourself against an A-ranked or higher fire technique then you're pretty much doomed, because of it's high temperature. Water will basically make it glossy and for acids and other hazardous things that make stuff melt into nothingness won't work against it since they basically can't corrode.

Soapstone is a solid, rock composed of various minerals and is usually formed at converging plate boundaries. The rock is considered to be "soft" however, this is only due to its lowness on the hardness scale. It also has a soapy feel to it.
The CE is simple, as it is Earth based, it requires Earth sources but it can also be expelled from one's own body. I focus my Earth based chakra, deep underground in order to bring up the material needed. I then use my Fire based chakra, in order to heat it and make it soft, and then my Water based chakra, in order to rapidly cool it. This creates the unique Soapstone, which I can then manipulate, as a new element, powerful and defensive.
After doing so, I focus my Soapstone chakra, from within me, in order to use it from me, with the same principle one uses Earth chakra, in order to create techniques from one's body. My process of creating Soapstone chakra, was complete.

I start focusing on the ground in front of me and try to mix up the needed elements to create the perfect custom element, called soapstone. First I will send a good amount of earth chakra through it which I quickly afterwards try to mix with both the fire and water element, one element at a time. Once I feel that there is more than enough chakra sent to the specific area... Boom. With a little to no effort, a sloppy but yet large spike protrudes out of the sole earth in front of me.

Yea good. Though mixing elemental chakra to form soapstone is just the scientific part of it. Its a normal simple process as like performing an earth jutsu which I believe you know quite well.

Alright. I start off by moulding my Soapstone chakra, and inserting it into the ground before me. This allows me to create several tool made of Soapstone like pillars, and even walls, which could defend against Fire. One could even create a dome around the opponent, and then cause Fire to burst from beneath, to cook them alive (I am getting combinations already z,z). The Soapstone created is fairly slippery, and has the usual properties of Soapstone which are resistance to Fire and fungi/acids/decay.
If the opponent is mid range and further, one could form a single hand seal and create several structures too. I presume this accounts for up to Long range too?
Overall, simple and very useful.

Urek started with sending quite a large amount of Soapstone chakra into the ground in front of him. This gave Urek the ability to create many things, purely out of soapstone. First, he tried to create a few kunai's which he launched towards a nearby tree. These kunais pierced straight through the tree with ease.

I start off by focusing my Soapstone chakra to my mouth, where I then form it into hardened Soapstone. Through shape manipulation, I will form this part of Soapstone into a ball, like a golf ball. This ball of Soapstone will be released towards the opponent with great power, causing blunt damage and best used in close range to give the opponent a black eye, or a concussion U_U.

As the opponent tries to slice the small ball up with his sword, will it so that it expands into a giant size equivalent to that of a bijudama and then with a taste of suprise, swallow the target. Will it again so that it compresses and crush the target.

With the ball of Soapstone heading towards the opponent, I wait for it to reach close range, when the opponent aims to dodge or counter. I then simply focus more Soapstone chakra towards it, and causes it to expand to a massive size, which aims to swallow the opponent. Once it does, I focus Soapstone chakra to it again, causing it to compress with great speed and ferocity. This crushes the opponent within it, leading to his inevitable and sudden death.
