I don't think being as strong as the sage makes you able to call yourself the sage. I think the sage is someone who follows the actual path of the sage and is acknowledged by people that you are the gateway to peace. A friend of mine said you become So6p by by becoming the juubi jinchuriki. But yeah be nice and converse about what I said.

It's all about perspective and what aspect you're talking about. The way you're seeing it now is the Bijuus way of seeing it, the ideals and whatnot and how Naruto is a reincarnation of those ideals

Madara looks at it from a power aspect such as becoming the Juubi Jinchuuriki while Obito thinks of it as the man who brought peace to the world. It's how you look it.
