I think sage was born with the rinnegan.

idk..if so6p beat juubi without rinnegan thats pretty amazing..but don't you think if this was the case he would of gotten the juubis eye (rinnegan+sharingan) rather then just rinnegan?

i mean they have quite some trouble sealing single bijuu..but all 9 in one? and only one man doing it? i can't see it happening without rinnegan+mokoton

actually sage is the perfect counter for doujutsu and monster .

As title says, So6P didn't born with Rinnegan, He is just obtain this power from Juubi's Eye. All We know that if you become Jinchūriki, you will gain bujii's powers/abilities. Like ;

So there is no doubt about it. Jinchurikis able to use bujii's KG. And I don't think this " Rinnegan " power comes from nothing, it needs a good history. It shouldn't something like that: " Look mom, i have got this eyes. Is not it cool?:noc:" This is so much for any human. And maybe So6P's prime powers like godlike but Sage was a priest who appeared long ago in an age of endless war. Then he sealed inside himself and become a first Jinchuriki. Then he obtained Juubi's powers. And this is why Tobi want to become Juubi's Host. Wanna be like a god with infinitie chakra + ultimate Dojutsu.

Juubi's eye is like combination of all dojutsus and when he obtain his power it is too much for any mankind or need any special condition maybe So6p has lack of hatred due to Rinnegan is like Juubi's Eye - Sharingan parts = Rinnegan and about missing sharingan parts for Uchiha Clan, their clan history has so much hatred. Maybe So6P wants to peace and he has lack of hatred then he couldnt get Juubi's eye for this reason. So He has 1 level weaker of it.
It's something like Juubi's Eye > Rinnegan > EMS > MS > 3T Sharingan > 2T sharingan > 1T sharingan ...
You need to do something for obtain MS then EMS then Rinnegan. Juubi's eye has some special condition too in that logic.

nice theory, tho if what you said is right he would have the jubi eye not the rinnegan imo, could be right could be wron idk. But sealing and defeating jubi isnt ease and i woudnt see he woud've done it without the rinnegan so i would go for him obtaining the rinnegan before sealing the jubi. ( obtaining not born with...)

Uchias eye's are especialy desinged to tame the tailed beast
