Does anyone else think this chapter could have been skipped completely? I mean.. what did we really find out that we couldn't infer ourselves?

1) We knew Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi weren't dying.. they're the main characters and who else would stop Kaguya? Plus, Obito deserves a better death than burning in lava. I knew they weren't dying this chapter.

2) We found out that Sasuke actually cares <3. But if Sasuke didn't care, he wouldn't help in the first place.hmm

3) The Hokages are one of the few that are not stuck in Infinite Tsukuyomi, it would make zero sense for them to just be stuck in place not helping.. though, I did expect Naruto or Sasuke to free them first.

I don't know, I just think this chapter could have gone a little differently.. My opinion.

i dont get it..people want the whole manga to happen within one chapter or what? they show char developpment, people complain and say its waste of panel. they show flashbacks to explain things and fill plotholes, people complain and say its stupid, they show action and fights, people complain and say it was done poorly, or whatever... now this chapter showed us what happened. they both could have died and we all didnt know if it was possible or not.....

also some chapters HAVE TO BE slow and boring, so it builds up..if it was intense like 24/7 it wouldnt be any fun at all.... naruto has been going on for over a decade, and it will go on by that speed, why are people still confused over stuff like that? also not every chapter has to be a whole story for itself....

I think you're misunderstanding the difference between slow and informative with boring and not informative.

What makes you think Sasuke care? This chapter proved that he doesn't give a f*ck about Kakashi and Sakura, not even Naruto. But if they are going to win, both Naruto and Sasuke have to team-up. He explained that the only reason he saved them from Infinite Tsy was because they were with Naruto in the first place

I might have interpreted it the wrong way, but that's what it looked like. I'll try and find the scan.

we learned that kaguya can actually teleport them to another dimesnion it seems
we learned that kakashi still cared for obito(going as far as to risk his and sakuras life to ust throw a kunai and help him too)
we learned that kakashi is still badass even without sharingan
we learned that sasuke still kinda cares, though that he can also put priorities (i agree with him: whole world IS more important than 3 friends...even if naruto saves them, if he fails to defeat kaguya it wouldnt change anything)
we learned that naruto can fly
we learned that sasukes susanoo actually can fly
we learned how powerful naruto now is(going toe to toe with kaguya exchanging blasts)
we learned that place might be kaguyas home or something since there was a tower/castle like thing...

we learned hashirama can move now, and madaras rods are going away=most likely he is dead or gone for good
we learned the edo kages are on their way to do something

I think you're misunderstanding the difference between slow and informative with boring and not informative.

even boring and non informative parts are needed, so other parts can be more tense, faster and more informative.... have you ever written a story yourself? or read one? thats the way a (good) story is made...

Kishimoto is not a perfect writer, and anyone who says he is are fooling themselves. Every artist needs a little constructive criticism, it's healthy. Naruto is a very well written story, but it does have it's flaws and inconsistency, like everything else.Your idea of a "good" story might not equal someone elses.

i never said he was perfect. but many people complain about stuff which is not justified (as i mentioned above) its a manga which has been going for over a decade. and in order to make a good story you cant just have too much things happen at the same time... it needs time to develop. it needs slow parts and fast parts. thats all im saying and my rant was over people who afte EACH NEW CHAPTER start complaining how they didnt like it, or how stuff wouldnt make sense, or was slow or whatever instead of just being patient and wait and see what will happen eventually.... as i said, he cant conclude the whole manga within a chapter...what do you expect? a lot of things happened in this chapter, so it took up all the panels of it.. and its good this way..

Nothing you've mentioned here aside for the Edo Kage is crucial information to the plot.

Also everything you've mentioned could have literally been shown within 2 pages, not stretched to a whole chapter.

as i said, there have to be things which arent that important, so that important stuff actually has its value.... of everything that happens was so important there wouldnt be any developpment at all.... read all my posts and maybe youll understand...

No matter how you word it or justify it, this chapter was garbage. There was no "development" in this chapter aside for Naruto's flight for his character and what the Edo Kages are doing.

That isn't enough to hold up the readers, as many are saying.
