They haven't shown the Zetsu that was fighting Minato and Kakashi iirc. I believe they are still fighting.....also I disagree on Minato being the best Hokage, in Edo forms or not.

Spiral zetsu is just Obito enveloped by the zetsu - hence the joke he made, if you remember thats the questions zetsus always used to ask obito.There was a segment in one of the last chapters that shows Black Zetsu constructing the spiraling mask around Obito's face. Remember that the spiral dude has the strength to control and seemingly mold enough chakra.
