As his opponent's hand grabbed his forearm, with his peripheral view, Ezio could see the opponent's left arm being swung to end in a punch. With his quick reflex, Ezio applied pressure to his right leg and jumped up, in a flip, that would've taken him from above his opponent and to his backside. As he left the ground, he narrowly missed the punch by his opponent. As his opponent's arm passed across his body, he grabbed it at the forearms with his left hand, and thus, locking each other.
As he completed his flip, while facing back to back, Ezio grabbed his opponent's neck using his left hand, locking it between his biceps and forearms and threw him right in front of him. The momentum that Ezio gained while performing the flip gets converted in the force with which his opponent is thrown ahead.
