Minato is irrelevant at this point, and always was as far as plot-value goes. Haven't seen a character more badly written than him. I a glad he is off the panels, hopefully for good.

You are just blind or you can not read .....Sakura / Tobirama/ Tenten / Sasuke/just even Naruto and and and they are sooooo more bad written charakter than Minato.

Madara would kill Naruto/Sasuke (without Support) again again and again there will be no 1 vs 2 Fight .
Madara has more Power even than Hagoromo: Rinnengan/ much more Juubi Chakra as Naruto / Mokuton /EMS/PS/Hashirama's powerfull SM _____ and Naruto&Sasuke both have only the half Power of Hagoromo, so they are much weaker. Even if Gai has weakened Madara with 8 Gates .

They will need more support then ever ....

Let us see who could then help : blind Kakashi with not much Chakra , weak Gaara with not much Chakra , Obito who will maybe lose the control cuz of Rinnengan, Sakura which forgets to breathe, Orochimaru who has no interest of this War just a spectator , Karin fooder against Madara, Suigetsu fooder against Madara, Jugo will have to help Sasuke cuz of Senjutsu, and Kabuto who has experienced a sensory change.

Minato without Arms is mooooooore important and powerful than all of them,that is even sad=D=D . He is also the only one who will have a strategy against Madara, perhaps also with the knowledge of Kabuto about Madara's Body.
Do you really think that Minato is unimportant? Only idiots who are just Haters would say something like this.
