People who argue naruto didn't lose RSM only defence was that naruto was shown flying, clearly with the help of sai.

I believe he lost it in the LAST Because by the time naruto was shown transforming in the movie toneri had already sucked chakra out of him, which is why he was only able to reach BSM level.

hinata was shown giving naruto hamura's chakra before toneri's final defeat, thus why he was able to do that kissing moon floating scene, not because of RSM, if it was because RSM, naruto woulda been shown flying before the kissing scene with out the help of sai.

The hamura chakra he received from hinata isn't enough to allow him to fly. Obito absorbed JJ madara's chakra and he still couldn't fly. Which means to fly one needs a significant amount of hogoromo or hamura chakra.
