Perhaps the most entertaining the State Fair has been for the past several years.

For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about:

One of the rodeo clowns for the State Fair in Missouri decided to wear an Obama mask. The political fallout from it has been quite impressive.

For those who don't understand - that is not unusual rodeo clown showmanship. The only difference is that a guy is wearing an Obama mask and is being addressed as Obama.

Honestly, I've never been a huge fan of rodeos, myself. But it's kind of hard to not have been to a few here and there when you live in Sedalia (where the State Fair is held for Missouri).

There have been rodeo clowns dressed as every major entertainer, the governor, every President through history, and just about any fictional character you can think of (wouldn't surprise me if there's a cosplay-rodeo-clown group somewhere).

I think it's kind of silly how untouchable this President is. We can hang effigies of Bush - but we can't have Obama rodeo clowns because it's 'insensitive.'

Makes me want to put up an Obama dunk tank on the Midway next year. Should be a gahootin' holler.

I beg to differ, I'm currently in a community college taking up graphic communications... As for the way I speak, believe it or not, (though most likely you'll disbelieve me) I have always possessed the sapience to speak this fluently from since my existence.

Pets that can understand the spoken and written word are hard to come by. Unfortunately, the number of adoptive masters for pets who draw (even for the sake of advertisement) is relatively few.

Though it matters little. We are in the twilight years of our nation. This 'light' that you think we are in now is a short strobe that rings hollow in the face of time. Many people don't understand - the book Revelations was talking about the fall of the Roman empire, and alluded to the fact that future civilizations would follow the same pattern.

I, myself, am quite the force to contend with in the coming decades. But it is not I that cements my immortality and my superiority. That is the role of my children - and their children.
