Hmmm, I suspect Madara might meet his end in his current fight with Hashirama, the resolution/redemption of his character can only be met with his dichotomy Hashi.

This seems plausible. Specially since madara is not relevant to naruto.

I honestly don't see whats next for the character, the Rinne Tensei already failed on a far far more f**ked up Obito another attempt at this as well as another Juubi Jin trying to do the same shit the last one did is as repetitive as you can get.

The Alliance's current actions cannot truly stop the flower from opening because the Shinju's Flower already started blooming:

Plot necessitates the flower to bloom (because it would be anti-climactic if it didn't) even if Naruto and co. managed to halt its blooming, it will still open no matter what.

The question however is: Is it truly only the Shinju's Eye inside the flower like Madara said?

Remember, that if Infinite Tsukuyomi is cast, it will be pretty much game over for the Alliance, regardless of who casts it (Obito or Madara)

Another thing, is that if Mugen Tsukuyomi is successful, it will leave a glaring plot hole:

These will be glaring omissions if these weren't expounded upon. The only way for this to be clarified is if the Shinju assumes an intelligent form when inside the flower when it blooms. An explanation from the character itself that experienced it: Shinju/Juubi

OT: i believe that madara will indeed take over obito using some sort of mukuton sage mode boost (maybe he has been forming a yin seal too?) and then rinne tensei himself using obito.. OR we will see madara taking controll of the tree using mukuton sage mode with yin seal.

But this one is very likely. It is the 'JUUBI revival arc after all so it's very plausible that the Shinju/Juubi will be Final Villain if Madara meets his end earlier.

Madara will not be the final villan. Hes not relevent to naruto in any way and Hes a zombie made from the edo tensei.

He'll stay a bit longer than hes out unless he gets his hands on the fruit.
