The Ōtsutsuki Clan: Alien Origins.
The Ōtsutsuki Clan originates from another dimension located in a star system at the corner of the universe. In time, the Ōtsutsuki left their home realm. The reason why they left is unknown, presumably to seek more power to strengthen themselves. By using their natural prowess, they traveled to many realms in the universe throughout the ages. If they find an interesting place where power could be obtained, they will stay there. They have seen various interesting sentient beings, various interesting planets and places, and what and how the life is doing there.
Descent: To obtain the fruit of the God Tree, the Rabbit Goddess descends to Earth.
From the moment they assumed humanoid form, mankind had walked a world of strife, waging war against one another. The ground was stained with blood, and as if drinking it in, the God Tree took root in the Earth. In time, the God Tree bore a single forbidden fruit that would bestow power to whomever ate it, and a clan migrated from another world in search of it. They were the Ōtsutsuki clan. Kaguya, leader of the Ōtsutsuki, ate the God Tree's fruit and became the progenitor of chakra, and with that tremendous power subdued the world in the blink of an eye.
Rule: She who ruled alone and coveted all Chakra.
Kaguya Ōtsutsuki brought an end to the turbulent times. Dubbed the Rabbit Goddess, she received the blessings of the people and gave birth to twins. With the birth of Hagoromo and Hamura, Kaguya's chakra had become dispersed. However, Kaguya ruled by herself and often resorted to cruelty. The Byakugan, the Sharingan, and the Infinite Tsukuyomi - these jutsu wielded by Kaguya were regarded with fear, awe, and reverance by the people. At some indefinite point, the Rabbit Goddess had instead become known as the Demon. Then Kaguya found herself ruled by her own desire to possess all chakra.
Moon: The Ōtsutsuki brothers used the power of Six Paths to seal Ten Tails.
Kaguya's desire to unite all chakra eventually turned her against Hagoromo and Hamura, her own twins, to whom she had dispersed her chakra while giving birth. Devising a plan to absorb their chakra, she integrated with the God Tree and challenged the twins to battle...The Ōtsutsuki brothers fought the incarnation of the God Tree, christened the Ten Tails. In truth, they were also doing battle with their mother. The twins, assuming that the Ten Tails was an incarnation of the God Tree, and that it had attacked them to recover the chakra from its stolen fruit, met it head on. After a desperate struggle, they invoked Six Paths - Chibaku Tensei. Hagoromo absorbed the Ten Tail's powerful chakra. The husk of Ten Tails, the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, was sealed in the Moon. Hamura took leadership of the clan and decreed that they would stand guard over the statue. From the progenitor of chakra, Kaguya, to modern day Shinobi. A blood lineage spanning more than a millennium will be unraveled here.
Inheritance: The fate of Ninshu was entrusted to the love of mankind.
Before long, Hagoromo had two children of his own: elder brother Indra and younger brother Asura. Hagoromo shared the teachings of Ninshu with both of them. Becoming strong thanks to the cooperation of others, Asura came to understand the essence of Ninshu. Elder brother Indra inherited Hagoromo's power and was a genius from birth. On the other hand, Asura gained his strength by connecting with others. Hagoromo named the younger brother guardian of Ninshu. Recognizing that he was near death, Hagoromo partitioned the power of the Ten Tails into nine Tailed Beasts.
Reincarnation: From the darkness an endless conflict was orchestrated.
Hagoromo had named Asura the guardian of Ninshu, earnestly hoping that Indra would continue to support his younger brother. Without the cooperation of Indra, he was uncertain whether Ninshu would survive to be inherited by future generations...
However, there were embers smoldering within Indra that his father had overlooked. It was the perfect opportunity for a certain sneering darkness called Black Zetsu, who whispered to the heartbroken Indra and stoked those embers into a hellfire.
Ninjutsu: Thus Ninshu became Ninjutsu and man was forced to endure eternal war.
Black Zetsu tempted Indra and instilled in him a burning hatred for his father and younger brother. Denying Ninshu and driven by his own genius, he challenged his younger brother. Indra and Asura crossed blades time and again, but the flames of their conflict could never be extinguished. Their souls continued to reincarnate over and over, with the reincarnations of each generation meeting the same fate. Ninshu, the power that linked individuals, became obsolete. Mankind, then endowed with Kaguya's dispersed chakra, brought back the turbulent times and wielded chakra as a weapon. Engraved upon the Uchiha's stone tablet is a warning from Hagoromo...

The representative is Kaguya's "Byakugan". This is what the Hyūga Clan has been passing on until now, inheriting the Gentle Fist. If after a millennium they determined that the Earthlings were using their chakra for evil, they would unleash that power upon them. Within Toneri's floating castle is this giant orb!!
For a thousand years the Ōtsutsuki Clan has used it to seal their eyes, and now Toneri has attained the enormous power of the Tenseigan...!! Ninshu gave rise to Ninjutsu over the course of a thousand years and mankind continued to wage war. Madara Uchiha stole the Demonic Statue that was sealed in the Moon by summoning it.

Toneri Ōtsutsuki
As the last survivor of the Ōtsutsuki Clan, he will fulfill their thousand year vow. The Ōtsutsuki Clan settled on the surface of the Moon in order to guard the Gedō Statue sealed within it. Toneri is their last surviving descendant. Fostered by solitude and darkness, he sets into motion a plan to drop the Moon on the Earth in order to fulfill the vow of his ancestors who were consumed by darkness. He then departs to find a bride with whom he can walk the world after the destruction of mankind. Toneri was born without eyes. The Byakugan were then transplanted from Hanabi. Taking control of Hanabi's Byakugan, this is known as Tenseigan Chakra Mode.
A shadow sneeks in the peaceful Hidden Leaf Village
Kaguya may have been considered as a genius in her lifetime. At some point during her life, she discovered that two Ōtsutsuki decendants from another world were planning on coming to Earth and stealing her chakra for themselves. In order to prevent this, Kaguya converted the people trapped in Infinite Tsukuyomi into the White Zetsu Army, with the sole intent of combating these invaders should they ever happen to make an appearance. Kaguya recorded all of the information regarding this threat into a highly encrypted scroll, which she did by using unknown but traditional means. She was able to create a powerful encryption method to encrypt her handwriting. Her encryption method is very intricated, to the point that even Sasuke's Rinnegan cannot decipher it, and instead he used the Hidden Leaf's advanced deciphering system. Kaguya recorded all of the information regarding Momoshiki and Kinshiki into the scroll. Kaguya's intel proved significant to Naruto and Sasuke about the threat and how to deal with them.
