So, We've Seen at Least 4 Uchiha fight, and...

OK, we've been told this wonderful fairy tale about the Senju and the Uchiha always pairing off against each other in battles, to a stalemate. Each side had very powerful ninja. Somehow, they lived in segregated harmony in Konoha. There were some world wars, and Konoha eeked out OK. There were also the Uzumakis, who also had comparable or even greater power, but were hunted down out of fear and practically wiped out.

So, you think, wow, these guys are all pretty scary ninja. Imagine if they were all DBZ level? The planet would have blown up like 100 times by now, LOL.

But, now, we have seen at least 4 Uchiha fight:

Itachi Uchiha - Super Kage Level
Obito Uchiha - Super Kage Level
Madara Uchiha - Super Kage Level
Sasuke Uchiha - Super Kage Level



Is Kishi freakin' serious? It seems that any Uchiha that bothers to get off the couch, dust off the potato chips, and actually put some work in becomes DBZ haxed. If the Uchiha, Senju, and Uzumaki were all that powerful, as the Uchiha seem to be, then why was the pre-time-skip period so much rainbows and sunshine comparatively? When they went up against Zabuza, you'd think that Kakashi would have said, "Him? He ain't #$%. You should see some of the mofos out there." And why wasn't the landscape pitted like the dark side of the moon? Why wasn't Konoha in a constant state of apocalyptic crisis then?

The answer? Well, the Uchiha aren't supposed to ever be that strong. I think Kishi screwed up. A perfect Jinchuriki Uzumaki should be able to own either one of those guys, but Madara deflects Naruto's TBB attack like he's playing ping pong at a senior center! That just ain't right. They are just a couple of freakin' Uchiha. A whole village of them and Uzumakis and, ostensibly Senju, were all wiped off the face of the map with relative ease. The Uchiha, sure, were jumped, but the Uzumaki were wiped out by scared mobs. If an Uzumaki could be wiped out by sheer numbers, then any Uchiha shouldn't be giving up as much trouble as we've seen out of any one.

I actually don't like how powerful some uchiha's and senju's are it makes everyone else look like crap. I liked the power scaling in part 1 we got epic matches and everyone had a chance, it was also more realistic as taijutsu was used more.

I'm Pretty sure that the uchiha clan is his favorite clan haha.

However, i do agree with you, the uchiha's are made out to be gods and the senju who are suppose to be greater are not even heard of anymore. Except for tsnade, but even she fails in the comparison to the first hokage. The generations are suppose to be getting stronger then the last, but from I've seen the before the older generations are stronger.

well, to the OP your talking about uchihas that have awaken the mongekyo sharingan thats why when they awaken it they automaticly rise to A or S rank ninjas, the normal uchihas still are strong sense they have the sharingan but are considerably weaker, lets look at young kakashi and obito, kakashi was already at jounin level while obito was about a chunin or a genin i forgot wich but how ever he told kakashi once i awaken my sharingan i will surpass you... meaning the uchiha are nothing with out there eyes and i disagree with you about madara's level he is like a minigod

Who said the Uzumaki were that powerful? They weren't on the Uchiha's level they just had powerful fuinjutsu.And they wiped out in the third Shinobi war by the other hidden villages who feared their fuinjustu.They weren't wiped out by angry mobs,but by Shinobi,jounin and chuunin,and lots of them.

And each clan has strong members.

I agree, but you have to show development. Character just can't stay the same, and the story does focus on Naruto and his development. I miss the chunin exams, Naruto vs. Neji, Lee vs. Gaara, some of the best fights in the series.

Uzumakis are split from the Senju, which means they are descended from the So6P, have incredible powers of fuinjutsu, have incredible life force, and have incredible longevity. They were wiped out by shear numbers is basically the point. If they are all descended from the sage, there really is no reason why the Uchiha are so ridicuously OP.

Madara and Tobi are both powered up with Hashirama cells, sure, but Itachi and Sasuke are also both pretty darned broken.

And as to character development, I agree we need to see character development, but couldn't we rely on increased insight and logic up against greater and greater conspiracy, as opposed to bigger and bigger fish until we hit the DBZ point where the dominant life form of the planet is too much for the planet to sustain?
