Even though we don't know when or how these defeats took place? Meh could have very well lost before he gained such strength or lost in under unfair circumstances (1vgroup). None of that takes away from him being stated as the strongest thing in the world.
He was already known as the strongest creature way back while WB(strongest man) was still alive. He was defeated 7 times and captured 18 by yonko and WG. But yeah you're right it's clear as day.
Where did u pull that from and by normal logic arent u contradicting the shit out of urself?
How can someone be the strongest living being including humans but at the same time there is also an another human who is the worlds strongest man including Kaido that he is probably a man too, u arent even making sense at all, nothing is confirmed about his title nor it is said when his title became known, ur jumping to conclusions too early without having anything to back it up.

Someone's jimmies are rustled. WB received that title during his prime after Roger's death. He was bested by every Admiral he was confronted by at MF and put on his deathbed by an Akainu whom he was barely able to slightly injure. He was obviously the weakest Yonkou during present events of the story. Oda then decided to go into depth about how no living creature on the planet is as strong as Kaido. You're the one who's not making any sense, guy.
And what? Where did I get him being the world strongest creature before WB died? Do you read this manga? Or are you simply being blinded by rage?
Lets wait for viz but I suspect MP is actually more accurate. There were two sentences in the scan that were translated, MS translated both as strongest creature, MP as Strongest man and strongest pirate. The fact that both were translated differently leads me to believe MS has done their usual thing of taking into consideration other knowledge in their translation, and while this is okay, it can lead to translation that are skewed by knowledge that may be now out of date.
Basically I notice that MS tends to make it sdound correct given what we know about the story and also makes it sound nice in english. I find it hard to believe that a word translated twice the same way is correct when MP (regardless of their mistakes) translated them differently. Again I suspect MS has taken kaidous previous title and assumed that Oda meant strongest creature instead of what it literally meant. If it was the same in sentence in english it should be the same sentence in japanese and that should be impossible for someone to translate differently. Therefore the snetece was likely different in japanese and MS took it to mean the same thing when it likely meant two different things.
Like always though, lets wait for viz.
I cant confirm the accuracy of this because of google translate but the indonesian version is like this:

konon dia adalah bajak laut terkuat yang masih hidup----->supposedly he is the strongest pirate alive
sosok yang mencengangkan!! dialah manusia terkuat yang masih hidup------> astounding figure !! he was the strongest man alive
I mean with the whole thing about everything that crawls, swims, fly's it kinda encompasses the entire planet. Now, people can say things like "pirates are humans therefore they walk and don't crawl" but that just seems like arguing semantics lol
We do know that he was defeated 7 times though so who knows..
i see some people bringing up that he's been defeated 7 times.all those time he may have been challenging WB and if he's been captured 18 time why da fak havn't the marines or the other yanko's killed him yet.i only see one answere.its that they were not able to.he's so durable that not even admirals or yankos were able to.im not talking about them not being to hurt him.i think the torture they mentoin is the marines and yankos trying to kill him and no mater what they did he just didn't die.

That statement pertained to every living thing on earth, Oda made that clear as day.
WB had hype/power and anything above anyone on this manga except Roger, his name alone was able to hold peace in numerous countries all over the NW, and as Jinbe said he was the pirate boss and if by some chances he were to die the seas would have been thrown into chaos, his power as well as his positioning in the OP world were unquestionable, everyone else falls short to the feat WB has displayed in MF, beating an admiral in semi-death state is a feat that no one has ever showed and I doubt they will, sadly just hype wont put down what WB has displayed.
Haha you think that's the first time I've heard this one? The very fact that WB got injured is a testament to him being < Akainu. There is clear cut proof in the manga.

Except akainu got injured by WB too so nice one proving that statement. His injuries resulted from being betrayed by his ally. that has nothing to do with strength. He also had fights with other admirals that left him injured as well. I dont recall akainu fighting any other top tiers in the war before fighting WB. Hardly a fair statement. Thats like saying akainu is better because he fought weaker people lol

The narrator was Uurogue, so it doesn't make it 100% valid. He's just a character within the story and as such he has limited information. For all Uurogue knows there could be someone somewhere in the OP world stronger than Kaidou. You think people would have learned with Naruto, just because a character says it in the manga doesn't mean it's 100% true or destines to happen. That said the "self proclaimed" claim is inaccurate as we don't know who gave him that title in the first place.
WB was not the strongest before his death. He still had the title from earlier sure, but he was definitely inferior to the other Yonkou due to health issues. These other Yonkous should be fully healthy, WB wouldn't have enough in him to defeat them as they can stay fighting for over a week while he constantly has heart attacks mid battle.
How'd you figure it was Urouge? Nothing points at that.
Those little boxes giving Kaido's story were told from the perspective of the person who watched him jump off of the island. That's how I saw it anyway.
Not narrator of the entire story just narrating Kaidou's introduction if I didn't make that clear. That's how it seemed to me, that those boxes were being spoken by the person who watched him jump off the sky island.
