Sasuke was completely avoiding Sarada during his search and mission because he didn't want to involve her, but that doesn't mean he didn't contact Sakura. He stopped by Konoha and she was beside him at the mission briefing with the Gokage, unfortunately he didn't visit his daughter.

Sasuke doesn't smile often, but we saw him smile at her even before they got married.

He could have been looking at Sakura actually, each of the has a separate panel.

I read the one shot, we didn't see naruto smile at her after they got married, even though naruto always has a huge smile on his face so it wouldn't mean much anyways. :lol

Back to Sasuke and Sakura, The pics after they got married were not meant to show a smile, but to show their connection and how they regard each other, which was one of kishi's objectives in Gaiden.
